Water in a Box has been created to provide you with high quality water in one of the most environmentally friendly packaging systems available today.  There are no bottles which means less plastic and less waste. In fact there is over 80% less plastic when compared to the equivalent water volume in plastic bottles or plastic containers.  Now that’s got to be better for the environment.

Not only that, but the water inside this box comes from one of the deepest, highest quality aquifers in New Zealand.  This water has been filtered through volcanic rock for 50 years and then stored by nature deep underground for an average period of 1800 years.  This natural process produces a super soft water with a very high silica content, which is an essential nutrient for good health and wellbeing.

I have a question. So to verify, are you saying that taking water from an ancient environment to put in a box is reducing our carbon footprint? I mean, yes your “box” is 80% less plastic than plastic bottles and it IS better for the environment but don’t you think if you REALLY wanted people to reduce their Carbon Footprint, you’d suggest drinking water from a tap? Water In A Box is supposed to be a better alternative to bottled water but most of bottled water comes from tap water so shouldn’t you be advertising that? Some people may feel a little weird about drinking tap water but they could always boil it or use a water filter. What ever floats their boat. So can you tell me why I should buy your product as to drink relatively free tap water?

    Thank you for your time.

    HI,

To be nosey and answer the ladies question above … some filters are very expensive especially when you’re trying to remove industrial-grade fluoride so I would never convince anyone of drinking tab water.

Which brings me to my question … is this fluoride free water?

    Thanks

The reason to drink spring water is that this is the way humans use to drink water and it is the more natural for the human body. If it is from a clean source that hasn’t been contaminated then it is much better for us. In order for tap water to be safe it has to have chemicals etc added to it. It also picks up stuff from the pipes as it travels.

Water filters are good if you don’t have other options but spring water is the best. Some people call it tap liquid because it doesn’t resemble water anymore. In New Zealand it might not be as bad but in other countries that recycle their water it contains a lot more toxins.
