The Sustainable Coastlines team and Water in a Box have been at it again!  Great Barrier Island was the focus this time with great participation and great results. Once again we provided plenty of water for the thirsty troops and a great day was had by all.

Altogether there were 22 boats, 65 kayaks and two walking groups scouring the West Coast, and collectively we picked up over 29,000 litres of rubbish! That’s 3125 kilos  of trash that is no longer on the beaches of Aotea/Great Barrier Island. 300 kilos more than last year! A big congrats to everyone who helped out for a massive effort.

Check out Sustainable Coastlines and our Gallery for more details and pics.

    Thank You!

We would like to thank you very much for our water in a box that we used for the StandTall Leadership Camp in February.
We re-used and recycled the boxes and bladders to make ‘boats’ with rice bubbles for passengers.
We set sail at Omaha beach, while some ‘boats’ were good and kept their passengers dry, some were like the Titanic and lost all the passengers on the first sailing :(

    Thanks again from the

What little plastic is used in this product can easily be put to further around the house or while away. The bladder has an infinite number of handy possibilities and in this post we will continually add ideas and photos as they get submitted by users and staff.  Keep checking back from time to time for great ideas as they come to hand.  Remember REDUCE and REUSE!

As a business we are proud to be involved with the Buy 1 Give 1 global collective. As well as recognising the need to deliver our water in the most environmentally conscious way possible, we have also seen opportunity of being involved with B1G1 as a brilliant way of helping our planet and it’s people where it is needed most.
